| Jan. 9, 1905. Circuit court overturns several ordinances. J.C.Smock Pres., A.W.Hall, E.W.Johnson, Geo. Saylor, Geo. Strong Council. J.C.Iler Recorder, L.S.McConnell Treas., Marshal Dave Weston are installed. Frank Colfelt license request voted down.
| Jan. 14, 1905. Special session on F.C. license. "At this time, Mr. Colfelt steped forward and handed the president a telegram from the Sheriff of Washington County..." showing Councilman Saylor as not being on tax rolls. "Mr. Saylor not being very much inclined..." to take the matter seriously. Council comes to tie vote (Saylor Nay) and Smock votes to grant the license.

Street repair: "...the Marshall as Street Commissioner was instructed to hire one team and such men as would be needed to haul brick bats from the Old brick kilns near town on the Streets in such places as need repairing and filling...." Old lumber from repaired sidewalks also cleaned up.
| March 3,1905. F.I.Dunbar Sec'y of State paid $20.75 for "certified copy of H.B. Number 143 Charter of Sherwood, Oregon." Roberts vs. Sherwood case with Atty Bagley's fee argued over. Miles J.Haynes replaces Morback as Recorder.

The hand dug well shall have "...6 feet or more of water..." and "...to be walled from bottom to top with good brick... furnished by Mr. Morback. the work to be done for the consideration of $125 and for each foot or portion thereof over and above the required six feet to receive ten dollars per foot for each foot of water obtained."
